Update on Yuka - OY

Yuka's foot looks like she has mange lol... I took her into the vet on Tuesday so he could take a look at the furless sore patches on her foot. He didn't know what was causing it, didn't think -but, also, didn't like- her licking was the cause. Anyway he gave me this spray that was supposed to keep her from licking the foot because it was supposed to taste bad. :sheesh: Yeah, didn't work. She's still licking.

So when I called today with an update (she has a big sore on the bottom of her foot that's new) he told me to bring her in this afternoon, he's fitting her with a cone.

On her visit on Tuesday she pooped on him while he was making sure her knee was healing right (he was looking all over her leg and when he went under she gave his face a gift) I can only imagine how she'll respond today...

Sorry to hear Yuka is doing so much licking, Toni. It could be any number of things as your vet, and you, have probably realised. Things like that can often be very hard to figure out and sometimes it never is. Having been part of a dog forum, skin issues, itching, licking excessively, were popular topics of conversation.
Don't feel too bad about the gift Yuka gave the vet...vets are used to that kind of thing, or at least they should be!
