1. Amber Glenn’s FS - she delivered a clean skate with a hurt ankle and becomes the first US woman in 12 years to win 2 GP events
2. Lajoie/Lagha’s FD
3. Hase/Volodin’s FS - Minerva overcame food poisoning and delivered a clean competition
HM: Mone Chiba’s FS
1. Amber Glenn’s FS - she was so focused throughout and delivered the program beautifully (and technically strong)
2. Lajoie/Lagha’s FD - beautiful
3. Hase/Volodin’s FS - I enjoyed it more than I did two weeks ago at GP de France (a shame on the fall in the SP)
1. Smart/Dieck FD - the program of the season among all disciplines for me. I was wondering what was their first GP event and was surprised learning it was Skate of America which we attended THen I remember we left after first three free dances because of our flight and did not see it.
2. Michail Shaidorov SP + FP
3. Amber Glenn SP + FP
HM: Conti/Macii SP
1. La La FD. Stunning, emotional skate.
2. S/D's Dune. Best program to this music. Love how it has come together.
3. Amber's FP. She is the most interesting skater in the women's field this season. The other girls in this particular event all blend into one rather blah performance for me. Amber is the only one that kept my attention.
Lajoie and Lagha's FD: anything they do (espcially FDs; dislike the 'concept' of last few SDs).
Minerva Fabienne Haase and Nikolos Korodin
All French ice-dancers. I love their style and feel they're slways under-scored.
