I'm new here (used to post at FSU- seachange :)), so hi everyone.

I was wondering if any rule-savvy person here could analyse Yuna Kim's straightline step sequence in SP? I'd be interested in seeing what criteria she
met for L3.

To my eyes, Mao's same element looked more complicated but it wasn't
reflected in the marks. So if someone could analyse in comparison to
Mao's, that'd be great.

I do recognise Yuna's superior speed, expression, jump techniques, etc. so
I hope you know I'm not here to bash her here at all. Cheers!

Attempting to de-construct step sequences into their components is a giant bore. I remember seeing some Youtube videos that did it, though. You should message that person and ask them to do it for the performances in question.

The rules on step sequences (and spins, and spirals) still need more work.
