That's so funny:laugh: Given how ugly their Ys were, Ondrej was probably doing them a big favor breaking them apart:laugh2: And Michal wearing Javi's Spanish team jacket:laugh::luv17:
I remember reading in some reports that Guillaume and Javi did a pair sit spin at gala practice at either Euros or Worlds. :laugh:

they could barely stretch their legs over 90' degree and I rather called it L spiral :laugh2:

And I saw Michal had pictures taken with his fans in Javi's jacket, apparently, he forgot his own and Javi lent his jacket to him.

Javi was always hilarious at gala practices, coming up all the tricks to play with his fellows;

however, the side by side quads & 3 Axels he did with Patrick and Nam respectively are very impressive indeed :luv17:

L spiral:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:
It must look so awkward lol. I guess they were having fun so it didn't matter, though.
Did other skaters (apart from Ondrej) notice what they were doing?

it should be 2013 Euros, sorry that my memory failed me sometimes :laugh:; I did not recall the others, but these three mingled together a lot at gala practice, Ondrej even mimicked their spirals; perhaps all of them were in very good mood, Javi for winning a gold medal at a major competition for the first time, Michael for finally making to the podium at an ISU competition after so many disappointing 4th places, Ondrej for of course the first medal at the Euros.

Evergreen, why do you anglicize some names? Like you turn Michal to Michael and Stephane to Stephen (in previous posts). It changes the pronounciation quite much and I was quite confused who you were talking about when you first used 'Stephen'. It's not a crime of course, but it puzzles me.

sorry for my typo, cathlen, and I am sorry you got confused because of my mistake, I will double check with the names in future :biggrin:

Cool one this...

There's also an interview video from this morning: https://twitter.com/MadridContigoTM/status/752811988208660480 (sounded fairly general on sports and its meaning to people etc., some figure skating related stuff, but nothing of great interest - but hope that our Spanish speakers can verify, it was quite fast in places!)

About the Siete Estrellas award ceremony from Javi: https://twitter.com/javierfernandez/status/752862154114621440

Other pics from the same event in Twitter (btw, he was again selected as the speaker among all the athletes present!)

Missed this one on the first round-up: a video of Javi applauding - https://twitter.com/G_Gross_Alcalde/status/752831866252779520

The story in Marca: http://www.marca.com/juegos-olimpicos/2016/07/12/5784e902e5fdea18058b4583.html

And his opinion on the football final!: http://www.bernabeudigital.com/futb...-102538?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

Last year in FaOI Javi did a death spiral with Fedor Klimov at the end of one of the shows. Plus there were all those attempts at pair spins from rehearsals etc. And it's funnily enough usually always guys doing that stuff... :laugh:

evergreen - I've seen other Asian writers use the same forms very commonly, particularly for Stephane. Is it somehow related to how his name is written in Japanese/Chinese? My Japanese agent does the same thing among others.

The seven stars look beautiful!

:laugh: So these people really love to try this kind of stuff. Maybe at galas they should give skaters a chance to do something outside their own disciplines from time to time? It could be fun. (Although the skaters probably won't really have much time to choreograph and practice the program.)

He basically speaks about the importance of daily exercise for everyone, the challenges of choosing figure skating in a country without background in the sport and how he got in following Laura. Something that caught my eye was that he seems to have improved his eating habits regarding breakfast. Last year he said his breakfast was just tons of coffee and his doctors scolded him for that :biggrin: but now he said he drinks coffee, orange juice and eats some sort of cereal :yes:

Thank you very much, xibsuarz!

(fairly general about his skating career and what comes next)

Did he share any new information about programs? I am really curious about what songs they will be using for the FS, and about costumes, too.

You're very welcome eppen and honghe :)
Unfortunately, no. He didn't say anything about the songs he'll be using; he just talked a bit about the Madrid-native athletes going to Rio, about how he's preparing himself for 2018 and about how happy he feels for being acknowledged by the people in Madrid (since the ceremony was to celebrate remarkable athletes from the city). I think we won't know about it until JO :/
