I’d send Bradie and Mariah. Possibly Karen instead of Mariah. So, now what does the USFSA do? Send Amber? Mariah? Karen?
haha the US commentators kill me trying to hype up the women. It would take us decades to get to their level!Did he just say the state of US ladies skating is strong? Like has he not watched the Russians or Japanese at all?
Eh, I wouldn't be willing to bet on Amber at Worlds just yet. She's had one clean free, and wasn't clean in the short.Mariah made the world decision easy. This may not even be top 5.
International judges are typically not looking for fresh blood.Hope the US fed isn’t insistent on sending Bell to Worlds.
Send Amber and let’s see how she does. Fresh blood is worth a shot. You already know what you are getting with Bell.
Maybe he meant the US ladies are strong...in the USA. Hahahaha the US commentators kill me trying to hype up the women. It would take us decades to get to their level!
If they're smart, they'll send Amber. Even though she has been inconsistent in the past, I think she has enough technical ability to perform well enough at Worlds. So, now what does the USFSA do? Send Amber? Mariah? Karen?
I doubt it would take decades. I remember when our ice dance was very sub par on a World level. How many years ago did Max save our 3 male slots? It would help if we had major sponsors with deep pockets.haha the US commentators kill me trying to hype up the women. It would take us decades to get to their level!
I feel terrible for saying this, because it's awful for Amber. But... the sensible decision to me seems to be Bradie and Karen. Amber is a beautiful skater when she's on, but she's hardly ever on, and Karen is at least much more consistent.
Bradie was getting a medal no matter what happened to anyone else.I wanted Karen and Bradie to medal, but not like that.
