Anna, you marvellous, marvellous girl! Landed the quad this time, hooray, and then played it safe without the quad combination, and just demonstrated how extraordinarily consistent she is. Her first 2A comes out of virtually nowhere these days, and her 3Lz-3Lo is fantastic every single time. A well-deserved SB as well!

Another solid skate by Anna - Well done! :) I of course recognize her talent and qualities (especially her musicality), but I just don't feel anything when she skates. It's generically lovely, but the choreography and jump technique are off-putting for me. I also noticed today, for the first time, that she strangely raises one arm before she takes off for some jumps.

I really felt it at the Russian Nationals, but since then nothing

Good for Anna and expected outcome.

But could we get a Daniil program without the gesture of eyes-covering-at-the-beginning-of-the-program next season? I feel like I have seen it a thousand times from Tutberidze girls already.

And that's that!

Guys, today I'm gonna go to the pub for the first time since early December (thanks to lockdown) and I shall celebrate my team Russia and the Italians, who managed to keep France and Canada (okay, I feel super sorry for them) down with one skater less! (y)(y)(y)

That's interesting Italy picked up 3 extra points in the SP, I wonder why 🤔
