what ifs...

does anyone else think that if Michelle had been healthy
and done her inspired Michelle-skate she would
have won gold???

it's one thing for everyone to have triple triples but if they
don't do them....and if Michelle had done triple toe triple toe...whaddya think??? of course, i'm assuming her spins would have been faster
than nagano and slc...

it was my first thought when i heard that everyone else made
mistakes....or left triples out...

Coulda, woulda, shoulda...

I love Michelle but she wasn't in the comp and there is no way of telling what an additional competitor would have done to the collective mindset, skate order or strategy. I think she would have been somewhere from 1-5 depending on how it all played out.

And while I also think Arakawa is great I would have never predicted a winner with only 5 triples. That's why they hold competitions instead of having them determined by secret ballot.
