It sounds exactly like her! The moment I heard it I had no doubt. Tape it and run it through your voice analyzer, you'll see. Maybe it was the professional-sounding timbre in her voice that threw you off. :)

Well, I played back an interview with MK that I had from this year's worlds and listened to her speak (as painful as that was, lol) then listened to the end of that commercial. the "Kraft" does sound a little like her, but "salad" just does not, IMO. That definitely sounds like some kind of announcer. Or maybe they messed with her voice (recording) if it's indeed really her.

I agree, the "salad" does sound different from the "Kraft your." Maybe they made her work with a voice coach on that word and that was the best take.

(FSU has a thread titled, "You know you're obsessed with Michelle Kwan when..." :laugh: )

I have no problems with tobacco lawsuits! Keeps my daddy in business! Sorry, that is the 1st thing that came to mind, even though I am a grown woman living on my own...

For some reason I picture the relaxation audio that people listen to as they go to sleep as "the interviews of Michelle Kwan" in Mathman's bedside player.:laugh:

The point I was trying to make is that it is foolish to blame Kraft Salad Dressing -- much less Michelle Kwan -- for the fact that Philip Morris makes cigarettes.

I agree completely. What other companies are under the umbrella of Phillip Morris? I'm sure certain posters have NEVER, and would NEVER, patronize any of those companies products either....:laugh: Go ahead and volunteer at the cancer ward. I work in ICU, trust me, I see the results of many overindulgences (smoking, alcohol, drugs, food, non-compliance with prescription medication) on a regular basis. PEOPLE make those choices, and very few companies I would consider inherently evil when stupid people are making their stupid choices. Period.

Oh, and I'm sure that Ladskater didn't find Jeff Buttle's endorsement for Visa at all "crass commercialism"....:p

Yeah, I think you're right. Michelle said "Kraft your," then they brought in a professional announcer to say "salad." (Go work on your silibants, Michelle. :laugh: )

BTW, in the Savion Glover ad he says "Kraft your sandwich."

If I were healthy Michelle, I suppose I would choose to promote salads for Kraft as she did, As myself, bring on the BIG blocks of cheese! (Do they do Velveeta? Then, I choose Mexican Velveeta!)
