Brandon Mroz broke 200!
But of course Adam Rippon's likely to do likewise if he skates clean. Curran Oi's down, but, after Richard Dornbush has merrily Abbotted his way up from 12th place to a possible medal, can Mroz Lysacek his way to the top? Two skaters left to go and one more also about to be scored.

They honestly should send Adam Rippon to senior Worlds as the third skater - his mark at the JGP and at his other JGP events were so significantly higher than the scores of Carriere and Abbott this season.

Even though I adore Abbott, he is so inconsistent and his short programme marks may not even qualify him for the long at Worlds. Abbott's hit 70 once in the short (and that was last season at 4CC). And Carriere is consistent and the jumps, but the artistry isn't quite there yet...and in the SP, he's never reached 70.

Adam has both! His jumps, spins, footwork are just gorgeous and he is so consistent! And it's not like in ladies...Adam is old enough, he just didn't know what a breakthrough season he would have! And it has been a pretty awesome season for him.

Well, I think Adam would have to pass his Senior FS test first, right?

Major kudos to Ricky Dornbush for pulling up from 12th! That was a great skate.

Love your use of verbs

I couldn't watch this at work, but I'm looking forward to watching the on demand video. Loved Rippon's SP and hear that his LP was amazing.

So what does this mean for the jr. worlds team? Do they send Gonzalez who has no gp experience or if Razzano does well at senior do they send him?

Rippon and Mroz for sure will go to Junior Worlds. The third spot may go to the highest placing Senior man (other than Carriere) who is age eligible. Or they could send Gonzalez or Dornbush, because with Adam and Brandon there, the US is sure of keeping 3 spots for next year.

I think Razzano might be another choice for the third JW man, if he does well at Seniors, or perhas Elliot Halverson. Razzano was 4th at the JGP Final, and Halverson has international experience.

Either could become a JW candidate by finishing high enough in the Senior Men's event. Halverson went to JW last year and was disappointed with his placement there.
