Really not sure about the Zhangs. Lovely moment in the middle of the step sequence with the collision flip, but otherwise, not really seeing this much-vaunted growth. Interesting use of disunison (is that a word) though?

kind of slow footwork, and not in a good way
ages to get from one end of the rink to the other
Hip Lift from his knee, shift to a platter, really good ice coverage
Large throw triple flip-tilted in air, but straightened out at the landing just fine
death spiral & pair spin (needs work)
They seem very happy

hip lift to platter one hand dismount
spiral into death spiral. head touched ice
footwork with good flow and edging. I like this part! off at the end though.

footwork mirrored crossing perilous close on purpose she flips over in in the middle really quite nice but I'd like it a little crisper.

The Zhangs land like butter. I love this program and their performance, especially impressive for the start of the season. I think they should have a greater winning margin.

I thought the program would be with heavy or depressing music because of their outfits...particularly his choker(?)
