any news about this event?
In USA level (Intermediate, Novice, Junior, Senior etc.) means the level in which skater may compete at qualifiers and Nationals.I think they'll both compete as Senior nationally but at the Junior level internationally, they could both have good medal chances in the JGP, while as Seniors they would have to compete only in Senior B competitions...
Serafini is currently coached by Rafael Arutunian in Artesia, CA but is still listed as SC of NY in the Glacier Falls SP results linked above.Looking in particular for one NA Junior - Olivia Serafini. Heard after Nationals that she was shopping coaches. Is she somewhere other than SCoNY?
Skaters usually are allowed to skate up one level in non-qualifying (club) competitions without having passed the FS test at that level. In USA level (Intermediate, Novice, Junior, Senior etc.) means the level in which skater may compete at qualifiers and Nationals.
Can skater skate at other level at non-qualifying competition - I don't know, probably depends on competition.
Their bios are not yet updated on IN for the 2014-15 season. The recent GS article on Pierce indicates she plans to skate at the Senior level in U.S. qualifying comp. (Regionals, Sectionals) this season: http://www.goldenskate.com/2014/07/tyler-pierce/I'm interested in US Level of Karen Chen and Tyler Pierce.
It their bios at icenetwork.com - level:Junior.
Excited to finally be a senior lady, just got awarded my gold pin from Janis Engel!
I liked Polina's SP quite a bit. This could take her places if she can execute.
I'll hold my judgement of Gracie's SP until later but it seemed kinda meh to me. Hopefully it's just early season break in. Her spins were great!!
I kind of feel like a late night Jewell theif watching these videos
Yes, that's what I thought, too, she looked a bit slow and hesitant, but except for the mistake at the beginning she skated nicely and delivered everything very well. Loved Polina and Leah, but I really didn't like Courtney, not because of the mistakes, but really the program itself didn't work for me What about Wang scoring 43?!Also remember that she just returned from Japan a few days ago...so she might still have a bit of jet lag.

I have to say, I like it a lot! She's actually really worked to control her limbs. She has a really mature looking presentation here. And a (mostly) clean program -- 3Z-3T, 3F, 2A. Great start!
But what about her layback? Did she even receive a level 2? Was it actually planned as she executed it?Polina Edmunds SP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCYexLLl59o&feature=youtu.be
