I have this figure skating program music stuck in my head. It's a beautiful and poignant piano piece that is possibly from the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack, but I could as well be wrong. I've tried to hum it to Shazam and Soundcloud but they didn't turn up any useful result (probably due to my horrible singing voice). I've upload my humming on Youtube so you guys can check out my humming to the song--I have to admit I sound rather creepy doing it, so I apologize for that.

The Youtube link is: https://youtu.be/1_JLmceDZgI. Thank you for all your help in advance.

I think we should give out some type of award if someone can correctly identify this.

Probably the singing doesn't help, no offence. Can you try sing with an open voice and not humming? Like try with la la la or ta ra la la, something similar.

What did I just watch?

The first clip doesn't have enough to help identify it for me. And as for that second video...What was that?

What about this for coincidence? After you guys talking about it a few days ago, Estonian Pairs skater Maria Sergejeva shared this video link on Facebook today:

Right. Does anybody know who he is?

Apparently the Trololo is the Russian equivalent to Rick Rolling someone.

I follow skateboarding as close as I do figure skating and it's quite common for rumors to spread about a skater doing a trick down a famous set of stairs or something and then when everyone looks it up they get Rick rolled. It's hilarious.

Still...this is the best Rick Roll ever!!

Getting back to the original idea behind this thread. I saw this routine a few hours ago in the Advanced Novice Ladies SP at the Denkova-Staviski Cup.

I have no idea what the music was that Svetoslava RYADKOVA of Bulgaria was using, but I absolutely loved it!!!  :points:

Svetoslava RYADKOVA (Bulgaria)
24[SUP]th[/SUP] October 2015: Denkova-Staviski Cup Advanced Novice Ladies SP

It sounded very like something that Evanescence would record. But, I don't know if it was them or not.

So, can anybody put me out of my misery?

It's I walk alone, by Tarja Turunen : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbeQVzXvtok

Thank you ficelle!!! :cheer:   :points:

Seeing her name, I have a feeling that I've come across Tarja before. But I haven't a clue where. (Let's face it, when you're in the British Isles, you don't come across Finnish singers too often!)

I'll have to make sure to listen to some more of her material. Because if it is as good as that...

Thank you again

You're welcome CaroLiza_fan^^

Well, Tarja was the former lead singer of Nightwish, the symphonic metal band...maybe you already heard their songs ?
They were quite famous in the 1998-2005 period. I was crazy about them when I was a teenager xD
