Yeah it's a young Vika. That picture is really old though.

Edite to add: If anyone is interested in seeing a picture of Irina's mother. Click on the third picture and it's the lady who is trying to feed Irina something.

[c]<font size=4><font color="#484878">I thought it might be Volchkova, but I've never seen her smile that broadly before + her cheeks were obviously alot more rosy a couple of years ago. She almost looks like a female Plushenko in that shot.

How sweet! The thousand cranes are a lovely tradition and it was so nice of her fans to make them as a symbol of their wishes for her good health and long life.
