I am excited to see the pairs here, especially Siu/Han and Peng/Zhang. Both pairs seem to be in a great shape.
Sadly Zijun has not improved her SS and artistry. Her arms are still as stiff as sticks, and her jumps are not as reliable as before.
Song: even with several falls, I am glad to see the improvement of his overall skating quality. Both SS and interpretation are much better than the previous season.

According the tieba.baidu site of S/H, their FS score was 131,56 P (64,50 + 67,06). This score is quite high considering that the domestic competitions scores in China are always a little bit lower than in other big countries.

Only P/Z have lori nichol of the pairs i think, s/h and y/j have David Wilson. just fyi

Zijun worries me. Both her SP and LP have great music (at least it's not POTO!) which I know I'll enjoy a lot this season, but her performances were so unstable and messy. Granted she probably hasn't practiced both programs for very long since it's still early in the season but those falls really bothered me. I do have hopes that she'll refine those programs more once CoC and NHK approach, though.

As a self-professed Song Nan fan, I have to say I am SO HAPPY he chose to use his old Sarabande EX for his free this year. I always thought that EX was one of his most expressive artistic programs.

I may be wrong, but I believe "National Junior" team refers to the level of skating rather than "Junior" in the traditional sense. i.e. I think the "National Junior" team is analogous to B-team funding in other countries.
