Too many for my taste Is Russia famous for growing roses? I think I've seen those large bouquets of roses being common as a gift for skaters?

There is a famous Russian song, "A million scarlet roses" which tells about a painter who carpets the square for an actress with roses as a tribute. So, the more, the merrier. Chalk it up to Russians never doing anything by halves
