The 2021 The Lake Placid Ice Dance International will take place Aug 12-15, 2021, at the Skating Club of Boston facility in Norwood, Mass. It is an annual ice dance competition normally held in Lake Placid, New York, and was first held in 1932. Beginning in 2015, the senior international event was included in the International Skating Union's (ISU) calendar. Medals will be awarded in the senior and junior levels categories.

COVID-19 Event Policy

  • All attendees are required to wear a face mask (no gators or bandannas) that fully and securely covers their nose and mouth at all times while in the Club facility. This is for your protection and for the protection of others.
  • At their option, skaters may remove their face mask while on the ice. This applies to both practice and competition.
  • Attendees may be asked to complete the Club’s health questionnaire before entering the facility. This would be required should it be necessary to contact individuals who have been in the facility at any given time.
  • These policies apply to everyone, regardless of their vaccination status.

Thanks……..was curious to see who all was in the line up! So in Seniors we have our Wheaton/Ion Academy skaters who finished 4th/5th/6th place at US Nationals (Green/Parsons, Cesanek/Yehorov, McNamara/Spiridonov) competing 🧐

Looking for what Green/Parsons have for this season. I liked their previous programs and them getting so well together in short time
No info yet on their programs as far as I know. A good place to check for program info is the 2021-2022 Programs By Discipline thread:
https://www.goldenskate.com/forum/threads/2021-2022-programs-by-discipline.88404/ although no info in there for them yet.

I agree they really have gotten off to a strong start. I enjoy their skating as well!

Welcome to Golden Skate! Post long and post often!

Anyone else getting a "live stream offline" message on the above Lake Placid Dance live stream during ice resurfacing?
I believe there were still three teams to skate.

Hmm. This is interesting. Romy MALCOLM/Noah LAFORNARA withdrew from the comp, but are about to perform their RD as an exhibition. I don't think I have seen this before.
