oh well... of course i am biased towards my quebec men but my two favourite performances were the first two of the night.

I still think Lu/Mitrofonov have a lot of polishing and maturing to do but I think they made the least mistakes. Good for them on building momentum for the next quad.

Chan/Howe had the best skating quality to my eye though.

too many mistakes, in a bigger field no one of these teams would be anywhere near the top 10 let alone the podium

Not L/M's best, but I do think they've made some improvements this year so hopefully they can build on two international wins this season for a strong next quad.

Thierry Ferland, Deanna Stellato, and Spencer Howe were my favorite skaters of the event. Unfortunately none of them skate together.

I don’t think L/M capitalized on the chance to make a clear case to be chosen over any of the top2 US pairs here. But Letov is doing something right with them and C/H. Today, Emily and Spencer were the best performers for me.

Also, I get a bit miffed when I see pairs giving up mid-element, especially during death spirals. Grab those points! Stop losing them in small things. So few level 4 death spirals here.
