I like Rocky.

I like Lilah and Lewis' version of Rocky.

I like it better than Allison and Saulus.

I like it better than the uber drama of Charlene and Marco, actually. If you're going to go in, go all in. And yes Charlene and Marco have slides and lifts and even skating and all that other good stuff. But the pretentiousness just doesn't speak to me and I don't think Rocky is *that* bad skating (obviously Lilah's error notwithstanding).

So there.

I am all about the great comp the Italians are having overall, however.

Have used up all my FD tears on the Taschlers, but that was beautiful, and the way they express the breaking of Marco’s heart in this, is a first rate piece of ice dance theater IMHO

The absolutely highlight of today for me was Demougeot and le Mercier--I would love to see them medal next year. Wonderful entertainment from Orihara and Pirinen! A stunning home bronze for the Lithuanians! Chris's commentary was still intermittently incoherent although there was no clear mustard! Congratulations to the gold and silver medallists even though I don't like either of their free dances!

Marco and Charlene were fantastic IMO, should win comfortably. For me demonstrated great emotional connections and expressiveness and of course their skating skills are always top notch.

Given that EC 2025 is in Zagreb and there is no top ice dance team from Croatia, who'll get the bronze ?

But honestly, I think Finland #1 is the likely candidate—with the Taschlers having an outside shot
