I'm not sure I've ever seen anything she did for singles...
Sasha Cohen (04-05 LP), Gracie Gold (Olympic season programs), Yukari Nakano (almost all of her programs 04-10), Alissa Czizny (not sure as not specified on her Wikipedia page). For a skillful skater Marina is a wonderful choreographer.

I liked Sasha's programs, but...that was a decade ago. Taka's I guess were alright, not my kind of music though. I'll try to keep an open mind until we see them...hope we find out what the music is soon.

Not sure if Zoueva can come up with good ideas for him during this short-time collaboration. Her productions could be wonderful, or no better than what Zhulin gave him this season if her ideas doesn't click with him. The big names aren't necessarily better than relatively obscure choreographers who have longtime collaboration with Eteri's group and thus are more familiar with his skating. His programs this season serve as good testimony. In fact I don't really care if it's Zoueva or anybody else as long as he gets two programs carefully tailored to his strengths and weaknesses.
I do hope that in case Zoueva's choreo doesn't work well, a backup plan comes early enough so that they don't have to make an emergency program change like they did last September.

But for me it's still a pleasant surprise that he gets the opportunity to work with a great choreographer abroad. It will be a positive experience even if the work with programs doesn't go smoothly. Better to try different options and find out what suits him (and what doesn't) now than later. Plus I think she's working on other aspects of his skating as well.

I have watched him for couple os seasons now and honestly none of his programs were memorable to me. So I believe there is so much for him to learn and for the chreographers to explore.;) And I rather send him around the world to work with different choreographer each year and develop rather than keep boiling into the group of the same people all the time. Sure he can come back and polish and differ the originally crafted program with his home specalists but other than that- please let him incorporate the new. IMHO, don't be mad at me.

I won't, I won't.:)I agree with you. I also think he should try working with different specialists around the world, not only with the ones inside Russia (or with Russian cultural backgrounds). There's so much for him to discover and learn, and those experiences will surely bring long-term benefits. What I worry about is the risk that comes along. I'm more concerned with the possible undesirable immediate result. If (God forbid) later they find the new programs don't work very well, I hope they handle the problem better than this season. He will be facing more ferocious competition next season, and I don't want to see his progress hampered by ill-received programs. I could be too pessimistic, though.

Oh, just found this:http://rsport.ru/figure_skating/20150508/829778290.html
In parallel with the Lipnitskaya Zueva worked with another skater from the group Eteri Tutberidze - Adyanom Pitkeevym. "Adyanu we put one program - arbitrary," - said the coach, adding that work with both athletes passed unanimously, the feeling remained "the most enjoyable."

Seems both sides are happy now :cheer:

It's an understandable concern, since last year they had to scramble to come up with a new FS program after his original one (Muse) went over like a lead balloon at the test skates. Ultimately I think the new one was the best choice, but it would probably be disheartening for him to have to go through that again. But yes...like you, I don't want to be pessimistic. Hopefully he got something great.

And I think he's done with junior competitions for good now.

Yeah but he still did Jr worlds :confused2:

since he couldnt go to worlds, russian fed might have thought why not send him to junior worlds and have better chance for spots for the next year

Ennio Morricone? I love it! I always wonder why his soundtracks aren't used more often...imo, he is the greatest soundtrack composer of all time. :yay:
