Sasha Cohen (04-05 LP), Gracie Gold (Olympic season programs), Yukari Nakano (almost all of her programs 04-10), Alissa Czizny (not sure as not specified on her Wikipedia page). For a skillful skater Marina is a wonderful choreographer.I'm not sure I've ever seen anything she did for singles...
I have watched him for couple os seasons now and honestly none of his programs were memorable to me. So I believe there is so much for him to learn and for the chreographers to explore. And I rather send him around the world to work with different choreographer each year and develop rather than keep boiling into the group of the same people all the time. Sure he can come back and polish and differ the originally crafted program with his home specalists but other than that- please let him incorporate the new. IMHO, don't be mad at me.But for me it's still a pleasant surprise that he gets the opportunity to work with a great choreographer abroad. It will be a positive experience even if the work with programs doesn't go smoothly. Better to try different options and find out what suits him (and what doesn't) now than later. Plus I think she's working on other aspects of his skating as well.
I won't, I won't.I agree with you. I also think he should try working with different specialists around the world, not only with the ones inside Russia (or with Russian cultural backgrounds). There's so much for him to discover and learn, and those experiences will surely bring long-term benefits. What I worry about is the risk that comes along. I'm more concerned with the possible undesirable immediate result. If (God forbid) later they find the new programs don't work very well, I hope they handle the problem better than this season. He will be facing more ferocious competition next season, and I don't want to see his progress hampered by ill-received programs. I could be too pessimistic, though.I have watched him for couple os seasons now and honestly none of his programs were memorable to me.
