I don't think we'd ever see him compete again, but when you can still reel off a 3A+3T, that doesn't go unnoticed.

All of the men mentioned have great qualities, but I definitely think Johnny deserves more credit for his 3A (and those throw 3As too!). Not in this thread obviously, but in general.

Mad credit to Hao Zhang for this too. He's barely any taller than Johnny, but he can throw Johnny into a 3A. No wonder he could do that huge quad twist with his partner.

Hah, that's impressive indeed, and in the reverse direction too! Although, just to be a devil's advocate, it's not like Johnny needs assistance on his 3A.

Which makes me wonder (OT) -- how many pairs female skaters are able to do their throw jumps without assistance? e.g. can Volosozhar/Pang/etc. do triple loops without a partner throwing them?
