As cool as Donovan is, he actually isn't the first figure skater to represent Mexico. He isn't even the first men's figure skater to represent Mexico! There have been three figure skaters who have represented Mexico in the Winter Olympics, according to Wikipedia: Diana Encinas, Mayda Navarro, and Riccardo Olavarrieta.
