Very sad but totally predictable outcome for this event. I'm sorry for the athletes who put much effort into this series, I'm sure it's not easy to keep your motivation up without something concrete in sight.

Lombardia is in quarantine (and other regions in lighter version of it), i think this puts a sad end to this event

FISG announced yesterday that the 2nd Stage (which was planned for the 21st/22nd November) has been rescheduled to the 9th/10th January 2021. The announcement also stated that the 3rd Stage (28th/29th November) and the 4th Stage (5th/6th December) are scheduled to go ahead as planned, for now.

I'm glad that the federation is continuing to provide these opportunities for the skaters, but is clearly also mindful of the government guidance and the safety/wellbeing of the skaters and coaches.

Unfortunately the local government of Bolzano and Trento declared today the red zone; I'm not really sure that the competition will be taking place in a couple of weeks given the very dire situation we are experiencing right now.

i'm apreciating they're trying to keep this alive instead of just cancel it. as Lappo said Trentino requested a full quarantine but in the end is a decision for the central government to make. we'll see in 2 weeks

The FISG announced which skaters/teams have qualified for the final (due to be held in Bergamo on 13th/14th February).

Men: Grassl, Rizzo, Frangipani, Dalla Torre
Ladies: Guttmann, Negrello, Beccari, Leccardi, Rodeghiero, Tornaghi
Pairs: Ghilardi/Ambrosini, Conti/Macii, Della Monica/Guarise
Ice Dance: Guignard/Fabbri, Moscheni/Fioretti
(It's a shame they didn't include Calderone/Riva too, I would've enjoyed seeing them again; they'd improved a lot since Nationals)
Junior Ice Dance: Portesi Peroni/Chrastecky, Calderari/Cilli, Tali/Frasca
