How to watch minor Oly events?

I wonder if there are ways to either watch "minor" Oly events or get DVDs of them? My cousin and her husband wont be able to personally attend the Japanese Olys to watch their daughter compete. (Unless they sneak in). I will see if they have any ideas...

For the last summer Olympics, NBC offered live streaming coverage plus replays of every single sport online. Hopefully this will again be the case.
