I really love the Fly Me to the Moon program, and wish they would use it again, or something similar. Although unlike most here, I adore Cotton Eyed Joe, especially the Worlds performance where for a second he looks like he's about 4 years old after he almost falls off the chair at the end.
Mrs P I agree trying to improve his personal best scores is a good goal. I really think Juke is so tough that it deserves to be 86+ but I think the music choice may work against him.
Stitch, there are a ton of great pieces on two of Marc Anthony's early (1995, 1997) studio albums - Todo a su Tiempo and Contra la Corriente. The one I was thinking of is Hasta Ayer - I could just see Jason and Rohene doing something fantastic with it. Its very rrrromantico, about the end of a relationship, but the music is upbeat. I'd also love to see what they could do with Un Amor from the Gypsy Kings first big album (which played all over Spain the first time I went).
Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see either of these things or anything similar becoming like POTO. Salsa is very different than Paso Doble or other flamenco. Gypsy Kings is closer to flamenco but still not the same as what people usually use. As far as I know, no one has ever used Marc Anthony or even any salsa - am I wrong? I think Rohene himself may have done something by the Gypsy Kings, but it was years ago. I wish I could get my suggestions to Rohene but he seems to have abandoned Twitter.
