Two of my favorite, iconic moments in the sport beyond MK moments are Rudy Galindo's reaction to winning the men's U.S. National championship in 1996, and Todd Eldredge placing his gold medal around his mother's neck spontaneously at rinkside during the 1996 Worlds victory celebration. šŸ˜ƒ
Oh my, Rudy in 1996 was really something. He enjoyed performing his programme so much, and that after all his woes beforehand. This was joy indeed. Not so much for Todd at the Nationals, but he got his own moment at the WC in the same year. Here goes for both:

"My" Todd as a pro! Yes, he has a very serious persona in most of his Olympic eligible competitive programs, but watch him in his pro/show programs like "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" (from "Spamalot"), "Let Me Entertain You" (he skated to it in SOI).
Don't forget his Andrea Bocelli Program. It was so good, I teared up even on video.

Three performances came to my mind, for different reasons, thinking about joy in figure skating:
https://youtu.be/qiTzRinN4_c - Mao's free in WC 2007, she was so young and the last minute and a half of this skate is so joyful, just beautiful to see a young Mao enjoying herself on the ice!
https://youtu.be/AlDtAMQjwz8 - Carolina's free in WC 2012, obviously being Italian is a sweet memory for me, but that year you could feel her joy performing this program on the ice and in Nice her Step Sequence was just so wonderful to see
https://youtu.be/lI3XASJeZAI - Tatsuki Machida's SP in Saitama. More of a lyrical program, but this performance is as joyful as any other I could think of. Simply a magical skater performing the short program of his life, enjoying his performance and involving the crowd from start to finish

Thank you, Marius, for posting these brilliant performances of Tatsuki Matchida, Mao Asada and Carolina. Tatsuki is particularly inspiring and unforgetabble for me, and forever. These performances are not the performances of the short lived stars, who are forgotten after few years. It is a brilliance which last forever.

It's true figure skating does bring one joy, I know I always felt that when ever I skated. However, competitive skating can rob a skater of their joy. Some can't handle the pressure and the expectations. Also a demanding coach can take the joy out of skating - I've seen this happen. Kurt Browning is the epitome of pure joy when he skates, he lights up the rink, but he even reflects on his good and bad days at the office, as he calls it.
