Junior Nationals- Ashley Shin

Being one lucky girl and having jr. nationals hosted at my rink and volunteering as a monitor for hours everyday, i got to see A LOT of amazing skaters, one being Ashley Shin who won intermediate ladies. Such a mature and techically advanced skater (along with a few others). I knew from her practices she was going to end up on the podium. she has such strong triples with arm variations on her combos and pretty good spins. Did anyone watch her on icenetwork or was at the championships? Another few to note are Elizabeth Nguyen, Tyler Pierce, and Elizabeth Vian who is a VERY mature skater for her level and is very graceful.

another thing i just have to share is a very special comment made to my rink/club from Tom Zakrajsek about the competition-- he said it was the best junior nationals he has ever been to! how awesome.

ANYWAYS, did anyone watch Ashley skate? What did you think of her or any of the others?
