Actually not loving the SD costumes....too much red and too sparkly. But I love the team and think they were under-marked. Can't wait for Je Suis Malade tonight. Now that costume is perfect!

I love their Je Suis Malade so much! Pure emotions! So mesmerizing! They really did it for themselves!

Now the Olympics is over for them, can we start gossiping a little bit? :p

Are they together in real life now? From our beloved Ka2sh's recent instagram posts, it seems that their relationship has really developed to a new level! And their body languages tells it all :yay:

I wonder if they will keep competing. Their free dance was lovely but the judges aren't behind them...

When V&M came out of retirement it seemed to just take the wind out of their sails. If V&M reretire, perhaps they will be reenergized.:love:

I would love to see them go to another coach. I just don't see how Morozov has given them new life or inspiration. They ended up going to a former FD. With Virtue/Moir likely retiring, maybe that opens a spot in Montreal?

Oh God I hope not! I really dont want them to become another boring generic Montreal team, there's enough of those as it is

I feel like I could really see their confidence suffer immediately starting last season. They had always been so strong at the beginning of the season throughout the GP series, but then had trouble sustaining momentum and ending strong at Worlds, but when V&M came back, they didn't have their strong starts anymore.

But that is also when they started training with Morozov which probably has a lot more to do with their weak start than anything to do with V/M. It is still a mystery to me how they ended up there but respect to them for making the best of that situation and staying as positive as possible.

Well, I personally don't see any of Virtue/Moir, Papadakis/Cizeron, Hubbell/Dinohue, Fournier-Beaudry/Sorensen or even Smart/Diaz as boring and generic. Surely, none of them are or will ever be Gilles/Poirier, the Duchesneys or someone like that with experimental and/or "voidy" programs (although G/P themselves ended up with quite a "generic" theme this season), but that does not automatically make them boring in my eyes.

V/M are V/M, and P/C are P/C, but H/D were so stylish and sensual this season, and F-B/S are so elegant and sophisticated. It's difficult to put a word on S/D yet, they are indeed a team whose programs, with the exception of this season's SD, I'd say, seem fashioned after someone else. Still I quite like them. But, anyway, I don't see that happening to Weaver/Poje - they are too high of a level team and have too much personality and experience in performing to become copies of someone else.

Anyway, as it seems from the olympics they have Galit Chait now as their second coach, so it looks like they are not going anywhere

It was certainly a surprise to see her sitting with them but she isn't listed as coach on their ISU bio and she wasn't one of the coaches named when Skate Canada named their Olympic team (Oleg Epstein was on the list). If Morozov had other skaters there and their practices and/or competition schedules clashed maybe she was pulled in late so that they had a coach at the boards at all times.

A friend of mine who was in Pyeongchang got a chance to talk with Galit for a little bit, she is their second coach now, and it's a very recent addition to the team. She was there alongside Morozov with them at all their practices and in k&c

I'm actually very happy they have Galit on board. Having an ISU Technical Specialist on the coaching team is never a bad idea

Best they have skated the SD. Andrew, especially has become quite the performer over the years. I think they skate even better when the pressure is on them to maintain those three spots and as Canadian #1's. Hope they can skate 'Je suis Malade' to its full potential tomorrow and get that medal that they didn't in 2012.

Here to welcome back W/P to the World podium! Hopefully they can find the motivation to stay for Montreal 2020.

Did you notice Camerlango sitting with them in the K&C? Is he on their coaching team again?
