I'm actually dying to see how Carolina's programs will look like!! I did hope to be there as well (it's 5 hours away from m city), but I'm very busy and I prefer focusing my money/time on Helsinki EC.

No idea who Contesi is; hope there are some youtubes of him. I wonder how Oda and Verner skated.
Thanks for the news! Is the men's SP over now, or are there still skaters to come?

Ahh, what happened to Brezina??

Contesti is the old guy who never got a real chance in France and now is competing for Italy, isn't he? The German commentators mentioned him when Zelenka did his freeskate at Worlds, they said that this was probably Zelenka's last big international competition because Contesti has a fairly reliable triple Axel.

His 2007 -2008 SP at the Italian National Championships

:chorus: The guy is totally the Euro-version of Lysacek. Come on, lanky, tall, lack of extension, long fast-moving arms and sometimes awkward jumps. It's just too funny. But Lysacek has better spins and is somehow faster, more fluid over the ice. But anyway, this guy could be good for Top Ten at Euros.

That's his free from the Championships, with one pretty good 3A-3T.

I certainly wouldn't called Contesti Old. I also wouldn't say he didn't get a "real chance". He made the French team for Euro's and worlds in 2005 but chose to swap when he was left off the team in favour of Preaubert (who had made the GPF but finished 3rd at nationals) and saw the likes of Ponsero coming through. He obviously decided he'd have a better chance competing for his wife's home country (at the expense of Zelenka).

For the record, Samuel is 25. :)

Thanks for the education on Contesti! I'll be sure to look him up after I'm done studying.

Glebova and Dytrt finished with the same score? Could someone please remind me what the tiebreaker is in a case like this; I can't remember exactly but am guessing that it is PCS? Thanks in advance!
