for five different Skating Scholarship - $5,000 each

Criteria for Awards:
All applicants must be an Olympic eligible skater for the United States and a current member of the USFSA. Five $5,000 scholarships will be awarded in the following categories:
Three - $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to single skaters
One - $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a pair team
One - $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a dance team.
Applications will be accepted from skaters of the intermediate, novice and junior levels and must be submitted and signed by the skater's parent(s)/or guardian(s).
These training scholarship are designed to provide financial support to young skaters who are having a difficult time pursuing their dreams as Skating Champions due to financial strain. All Applications determined by the Scholarship Committee to be timely and complete according to the MWFoundation guidelines of the application will be evaluated.
The MWFoundation will determine the scholarship winners based on the following criteria:
financial need*
the mission of the Foundation
the individual merits of the skater(s)
eligibility status and level of skater(s)
young athlete(s) showing exceptional potential
young athlete(s) who are competing well at their level
