The very clear agenda of rights' holders (who, nb are usually not the creators or originators or performers of protected content) at present is to attempt to extend copyright into infinity. This is pretty far from the original intent of copyright which is a lot like patent (to allow creators to profit from their work for a limited time). But that's another discussion.
That said, I'm sure that the D/S team (o0r broadcasters) are in the legal clear with the copyright holder and all Chandra can do is voice her displeasure (which I'm sure the holders in this case could care less about as long as they get their usual payment).
