News footage of Summer Cup as summarized above. Love Rika's SP more and more! She looks great doing it. I think they say she had an injury and was recovering from it?

I read from twitter that Rika is having lower back pain. Hope she'll recover soon. I like her new hair style and make-up for the SP, it's very eye-catching!

No wonder Rika's jumps were a little off during some of the ice shows. I hope she gets back in form before her first GP. I think she has another 4 ice shows to do at the end August. Take it easy Rika! (or not, I don't know but whatever works for her back) I'm really liking her SP now too. I wish much success to Akiko's first year as a choreographer.

Me too. I guess he has no other competition for a month until his first JGP so he'll train very hard no doubt. I'll just wish for no injuries and for less pops at JGP :hopelessness:

I'm not expecting Sota to have Quads on lock right away, and even expect his 3A to be wobbly as trying the quad can make other jumps unstable for a while. What is a good thing is that he has TIME to work on this while he is still a junior. He only just got his 3A last season and the 4T will probably come late in this season. --Just my little prediction.

I really like Rika's new hairstyle and look for her programs. She is different and cute and a bit high-fashion. I hope she has time to recover and get her jumps back in order.

I wonder why Kihira didn't make a combo to the flip in the SP.
Iwano's expression is very strong and jumps are solid considering her age.

I don't expect him to have 4T straight away, but if he popped all 3 jumps (3Ax2, 4Tx1) I don't think he could go to JGPF and that's my only concern for now. But I'm sure his team is thinking of all kinds of scenarios so good luck to them :biggrin:

I'll just sit in front of the computer screen and be an anxious aunt:hopelessness: I hope there'll be livestream again this season.

i cant say i am fan of Marin's LP (yet XD), i hope she will bring her personality more, and she was looking really down after her skate

what i love about Yuna is she is always smiling and her face lights up :love:

and i hope Riona will bring more personality to her program as well cause she has amazing jumps(except lutz) and spins, i dont care for her dress but creates nice illusion when she spins, i cant wait to see her SP!
and novice girls are very impressive too! talent is really deep in Japan!

about worrying, every year my favourite list is getting bigger , so is my concern ; and i dont think its gonna get easier :drama:

^ It looked like the ice was melting, especially in the FS videos.
Both of the girls looked super cautious and not as into their music as they can be... Since they landed their big combos, I hope it's just the ice condition that messed up their performance. I'm looking forward to seeing their programs later in the season.
(Yuna's FS dress, though... It's so incadescent it could probably be used as a night lamp :eek:

I really hope so!
About yuna's dress, she might have wanted to emphasize the difference from Mao. That music reminds us of Mao. (I myself like yuna's music arrangement). The costume seems to help clear distinction between them.
