Seems that Lynn Rutherford is churning out articles for IN as fast as she can. USFSA retweeted her tweet below:

Lynn Rutherford ‏@LynnRutherford
I did a bunch of interviews at US Figure Skating's Champs Camp -- they will be posted on @icenetwork
8:42 AM - 24 Aug 12

ETA, but in response to an inquiry, she also tweeted:
@cleoc12 I have learned to never stand between ice dancers and their chosen time to announce their music.
9:28 AM - 24 Aug 12

Her latest article today re Abbott, Rippon, Miner: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120823&content_id=37232326&vkey=ice_news

Although the ice dancers (and other skaters) have been tweeting among themselves (e.g., about battling the altitude) and some off-ice photos are online, I am not aware of any newsworthy social media regarding the dance programs.

ETA, blurry off-ice photos:
[LOL at the contrast of her leg warmers vs. his flip-flops]

AFAIK, no substantive updates re Czisny either. Just the tweet and photos posted earlier in the thread.

here i go again, why no picture of Caroline Zhang.
nice to see everyone else, but i am tired of bitching about no caroline zhang when ever champ champ comes up.

nice to see michelle though.

Zhang is quoted in this new blog entry: http://skatingmagazineblog.com/2012/08/24/champs-camp-nuggets-day-two/

As are Gracie Gold and Mark Ladwig.

(But no photos of any of them at this link.)

ETA: And lest anyone wonder, nothing from Ladwig here re possibility of Evora/Brubaker partnership.

OK< to recap, tonight was team building fun night (or whatever they call it). It was team rhythmic gymnastics (no joke and you're welcome for all the images that are now in your head). There were four teams and each had a prop-ball, hoop, jumprope, and ribbon. Team jumprope won (Evan, Ashley, and others-too lazy to write them all down)

The winning team:

Team "ball" in action:

Okay, seriously, what's going on here? Did someone wipe every single camera lenses that the USFSA possesses with vasoline?

Not sure folks about the black with these jackets. What Evan and no Vera Wang. Seriously good to see Evan out there; I hope we get some idea how serious he is about competing through the camp.

I just noticed that when I clicked on the original Twitter shot it was clear, so it must be when they are enlarged and posted that we are seeing "vasoline" shots.

Are all these shots taken with a cell phone perhaps? And a not very good one at that?

Very amusing tweet from Weir today: https://twitter.com/JohnnyGWeir/status/239371413541249024
For full effect, the caption and photo must be seen together, LOL.
Note that the Twitter time-stamp is 7:39 AM - 25 Aug 12. (I think, but am not sure that Twitter always uses PT -- even though Weir is in a different time zone. In any case, still early!)

On a separate topic, Yankowskas tweeted that Champs Camp had a motivational meeting for Sochi.

But IMHO, photos tweeted independently by individual skaters (not by USFSA) mostly are clear -- or at least clearer -- at both their enlarged and original sizes. Example:

For better-quality photos from the video shoots and the team-building competition, see IN's gallery of eleven photos from Friday:

Those are Rhythmic Gimnastic balls .. what did they do with those balls?:) I didn't think that in USA know the RG, and doing it.:agree:

The team building exercise was team rhythmic gymnastics. Skaters were split into 4 teams and each given either ball, ribbon, hoop or rope. They then had to perform a 60-90 second group routine. Team rope ended up winning.

The pics of each team were tweeted by USFSA and they said videos would be up in a few days.

THX! But I really didn't think, that the RG is a known sport in the USA.

They all watched the Olympics, probably.

Consequently, they know what it is; they just don't know how to do it.

What I would wonder is where they would get a coach/someone to show them how to handle the ribbon, especially.

Exactly! They had balls, ribbons, hoops, etc.
