What skills for Adult 3 Synchro?

I'm interested in joining a synchro team here in Ontario, but no one really tells you specifically which skills are needed/good to have. It's usually just wishy washy come and have fun talk.

Very strong basics for sure, edge control. There are other requirements but those are two of the most important.

Thank you, ic3rabbit! Would you say being solid in all CanSkate skills (including edge control) is sufficient or should I better wait until I'm in a higher StarSkate level? I don't accidentally want to crush a team mate to death or something like that. Thank you kindly.
