Alexei Yagudin (no debate for me)
Sergei Voronov (true legend)
Vladimir Kovalev ('cause the 12-year old me fancied him, even though he finished ahead of Toller)
Zhenya Medvedeva
She's always fascinated me most
At the going rate, I wish Liza Tuktik gets her fair share of glory. I used to love Lena Radionova, but best skater of all times...
I think the youngsters are only starting out, a title 'of all times' remains to be seen, but they might be well up there.
Zhenya is my favourite skater, she moves me in a way no one has yet managed to do. Yulia came close to doing it and that‘s why she‘s second. Alina is just somebody who‘s personality I really like. She‘s humble and just so sweet, really admirable. Her skating excites me but it doesn‘t touch me emotionally as much as Zhenya‘s and Yulia‘s do so she‘s only third on this list.
I wanted to include Alena Kostornaya as well since I really adore her but she‘s only a junior so she has to wait her turn to get on an all-time favourite list.
Men
Yagudin
Kolyada
Urmanov....I'll admit it's more because of his kind of sad backstory rather than his skating. I don't remember the specifics but I do remember having a lot of sympathy for him in one of Christine Brennan's books.
