2023 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships The  2023 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships is scheduled to take place Jan 9-15, 2023, at the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa, Ont., Canada. Approximately 250 skaters in the women’s, men’s, pair and ice dance disciplines will compete at the senior, junior and novice levels. Athletes will vie for spots on the National Team that will compete at the 2023 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2023 ISU World Figure Skating Championships, and the 2023 ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships. 2023 European Figure Skating Championships The 2023 European Figure Skating Championships will take place January 23-29, 2023, at the Metro Areena in Espoo, Finland. The event is sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU) and is one of the four (World, Four Continents, and World Junior Championships) annual figure skating competitions designated “ISU Championships.” Skaters must belong to a European member nation of the ISU to compete and must be at least fifteen before July 1 preceding the event.
