Agree with this 100%. These three make a very good team. May he do for them what Ingo did for Aliona and Robin.

But, would Najarro be doing the SD, FD or both?

This may be true but I don't know if he has it in him to do truly exceptional choreography. Najarro has more of a proven track record. These two have never needed charity but rather genius, creativity.

My guess is FD only. Ruslan said they will be working with Ballroom specialist also. Therefore I guess they will be involved in the SD.

About Ilya, he was very nice to them. It was not his fault that the FD was not good this season. He could've done better, but it was too soon when he started. They had no clue at the time what to do, and what suited them.

Actually Najarro has worked quite a lot with Lambiel and that didn't hurt him, I guess when you get along with a choreographer and you understand each other it's better than being constantly on the search.

I think Navarro helped them find their style, which is fiery and fierce. I know they had the paso pattern to work with but he brought out the best in them. I think he can do this with the free dance as well. It's crazy because when they did the SD they were together for 2 seconds, can't wait to see how this turns out!

Yeah, I really liked when he mentioned that in his interviews, it seemed like he was the only one on their side when Marina was doing her full on PR blast last summer. I loved the shot of him looking so proud of them after the FD at CoR. He did what he could with them at that point in time.

Maybe that's the best we could have hoped for given the general attitude of the Russian experts toward them at the time. I hope with the success of the season and in particular their Carmen, more respect will be shown to them in the future. But most importantly I hope they improve on their successes in the coming season.

Do you have more photos? This one is gorgeous. On another more random note, by the end of the off season I am positive the number of views of their COR SD will skyrocket. That performance was just so.......wow.
