The idea actually came from the team. The Russian skaters do master classes, for money or charity, but this is the definitely the first one organised with the purpose to thank the fans! :cheer:
Ruslena is a unique team! No wonder they are loved like no other team before:love: :drama:
 
If there's any more information about the meet up, please post here! I couldn't find the information on VK and I'm sure my friend in Moscow would be interested in going! :)

The registration for the master class is closing in today. The date is the 4th of May, most likely. The exact time will be coming soon too.
I can send in the name of your friend to the VK group, just give me the name))

So, the final info on the master class with Elena, Ruslan and their coaches, May 4

Meetup at the entrance to the rink Medvedkovo from 12.15 to 12.30
The class starts at 13 and finishes at 15! They decided to give 2 hours instead of one.
People can come with or without skates. Many photographers are going.

What's the group name? Is it the closed one? I got in and then got blocked I don't know why.

I don't know, I just know that I got accepted one day and blocked the next. I didn't even do anything or write anything yet. It doesn't matter though! I'm in another group and I have this thread to keep up :)

Well that is the official group. There are some rules, if you have no profile pic, or the name doesn't seem to be real, or it was just that you were blocked by accident? Anyway I'm not a fan of groups generally but another group on VK that exists about them has posted a lot of false rumours in the past.Once Elena herself had to correct them.

They'll probably just get their ballroom specialists to do the SD. I've been very impressed with their ballroom specialists in the past, so I think it should be good.

I looked at some of the stuff Najarro has choreographed, and he seems to like blending ballet/contemporary with Spanish dance. I'd be interested in seeing a contemporary routine with Spanish influences.

Ruslan said they are working with ballroom specialist. Maybe they will do the SD.
If Antonio is not doing a modern dance for them, I hope they go with the Tango at this point. Although it's not going to be easy but maybe it's worth the risk. :yes:
