I think we will get details about the SD near the end of the training camp, or at least some hints. I/Z and group are generous people

I can't wait for a training video snippet. The off season is so long, lol. Grand Prix assignments in 13 days!
 
That makes three of us. I'm a bit worried about the assignments as well, it was just bad luck they couldn't be just one place up so they won't have to face the rest of the leaders, but it may be a blessing in disguise as well.
 
I don't get the worry tbh. Last season they were knew otherwise they would've finished 3rd in CoC based on their skating, and with only one good program. This year hopefully they will have 2 good programs, and they will have improved also. They have more experience now. What do you expect, no competition at all? :biggrin: They have to face some of their rivals, which is good IMO. Even if they will get CoR, which most probably they will.

Bring it on I say. Considering what they achieved with one good programme last season and the constant harrassment about it especially by their russian experts, these kids are tough. No need to worry. They had one week between assignments last season yet still they managed to improve drastically for their second assignment. Puhlease, lets just be excited for them. It looks like they will have two interesting programs this season.

I'm a bit worried about the GP assignments only because I think it might not be a good idea for them to face current medalists in their home countries during the GP events. I do hope they'll get COR, both audience-wise and status-wise, and I was as glad as anyone on this thread that they got an invitation to compete at Saransk.

Same here, lol! I think it's such a great idea to have fan threads for skaters here, so that those who support someone else and (incomprehendingly to me) hate their favorites' main rivals can't come here and start inventing reasons why the skater whose thread it is isn't as wonderful as his fans think. Or just people with psychiatric issues who understandably have too much free time on their hands and who think it great entertainment to choose a skater with lots of fans and start posting some junk comments about them; in the past such people had to content themselves with making up and spreading gossip in the neighborhood or spray-painting offensive graffiti on public property, but now the invention of the Internet has given them a much wider audience.

And I also appreciate that Najarro displays such catching enthusiasm about his work and is very open about enjoying working with talented people.

There is no escape from that. The medalists all have 2 GP's as well, and they will have to face one or two of them in one of the GP's, if not both. Anyway, the idea is to face them and if not beat them close the gap in scores right from the beginning and make the podium in the 2 GP's.

Russian forums are like anywhere else. You have those who love them and those who don't love them. You have trolls who doesn't love anybody but just think it's fun to troll around. I truly believe that paying too much attention to them isn't worthy.

By the way, wasn't this masseur working with Kustarova before? Is he with CSKA now?

He works with the national team, sometimes he's with Kustarova's skaters, sometimes with other groups.

I just hope they are not going for a drama, or any kind of Russian waltz (although I love them) for the SD. :hopelessness:
