The interview is really funny as expected, shoma didn't get a lot of chance to talk though and is apparently still quite shy? I love how yuzu and shoma just stared at oda when he started singing Hahas!!

It was so entertaining to read I find it endearing how Yuzuru has planned out his life in so much detail, even the age at which he wants to get married lol. At the same time, hearing him talk about his future post-competitive skating makes me kind of sad; I wish I could watch him compete for a longer time! Anyways, love his interactions with both Oda and Shoma. Their laughter/smiles are so contagious :

Well, it's the opposite for me : I'm rather "happy" when I hear him spoke about futur. Not sure "happy" is the right world, but I kinda fell reassured. I'm not a great sportwoman in real life, but I love watching sports, and I can tell in every sport there are people who can't quit /have a hard time to quit competition. I won't judge them, I suppose it's difficult and everyone deals with his/her life the way he/she want, but my conclusion is it's better to think about the "post-competition" before quitting competition. So in a way, it's healthy to listen Yuzuru speaks about the "after".

Furthermore, he didn't say he will retire from skating world or anything like it...so we still will have opportunity to watch him, I'm sure . I was a fan of Lambiel and now I still can watch him in shows (and seeing his last program at Faoi, I'm not disappointed at all !). And even more, 20 years ago I loved Candeloro, and I can still watch him, 20 years later xD

I liked the way he went to salchow
I wonder if he is testing by that diffrent aproaches of entering quad salchow, because recently we saw diffrent salchow entrance in Seimei, and here entrance looked like in Javier's quad sal. Just my thinking

Thanks for the info about shortcake. I was just going to ask here about what exactly that is, since the only place that I know that serves "strawberry shortcake" is more of a biscuit/scone texture but I had thought it might be more of a spongy texture. Oh the things you learn from being a fan

I am happy that he wants to be a pro skater for a quite sometime (lots of programs!) but a little bummed out that he doesn't seemed to have great desire to be a commentator. I would love to hear about what he has to say.

I often see shortcake in Japanese cakeshop here. To be honest I like Matcha cake more, but yeah today I will have shortcake. Yuzuru effect lol.

Now that I know Requiem almost by memory, I can discover and enjoy choreography details. I think Miyamoto did an eccellent job on Yuzu's arms, hands, fingers and fingertips, expecially in spins and in hydroblading , while Yuzu's sensitivity to music is to die for
