Sorry but
I think I know what you felt though.

In an interview, Yuzuru said he was told by his grandma that her life span had been shortened by 3 years (all by the incidents last year). Of course this was told as a joke, but no doubt she had worried about her grandson so much. Poor Grandma

Fingers crossed that his good results without any injury or accident the coming season would lengthen our life span, of course including his grandma, giving our hair special care
I think she meant HIS lifespan, not hers. That's what I recall from the interview anyway.^^ She's far from wrong, lol!

But yes we can say "ours" as well. I remember how my heartbeat accelerated more than usual each time he took the ice this season.
But he kept on saying how careful he'll be from now on and that health was on top proprity. Good kid.

The list is kept revised! (8/5)

When Yuzuru was said by an interviewer that his family must have worried about him, he replied "My grandma said to me, '寿命が3年縮まった - Jyumyo ga sannen chijimatta'." Usually, this means the speaker himself/herself who felt as if his/her life span has been shortened (as a joke anyway) by something, without the subject in this case. I suppose what she wanted to say actually was, "No more worry please, for God's sake." And, I'm sure Yuzuru knows that, and his priority now is his own health, not to worry anyone. Yes, he is a good kid, but our concern is his challenging spirit sometimes goes too far betraying his first decision, as we all know :ohwell:

I actually wanted to ask about that as well :) Because I also remember a previous translation that sounded like she was talking about his lifespan and not hers. But considering the context, your translation actually does sound a bit more plausible (at least to me)

He could, since it will be in September, but I doubt it. He said that Finlandia was one of his favourite place to compete and it would not be a surprise if he chooses to go. And considering how "soon" those competitions are compared to Finlandia Trophy, he may want to have a little more time to prepare.
Except if he decides to go differently and have like a big gap between a Challenge trophy and SC. But there's almost 3 weeks between FT and SC, it can be enough.
At the same time, maybe we would already know if he goes to Lombardia or Nebelhorn instead since it's like a month earlier... Or you know what? Maybe we'll know something this week-end with the coming interview! I doubt it, but hey! We can never know what the kid will do.

Regarding JO, I do recall it was said during June-July that he wasn't going to participate but Javier was instead of him. I wish I remembered where I read that, tho...

Regarding the costume, remember how Brian said the SP will take advantage of his sense of rythm? Maybe we can expect one that will remind of PW's costume. Simple and yet very elegant and cool.

That "toothpaste commercial thing" costume is cool too...
But God Forbid. I mean...really GOD (Forbid it)

Sorry for being off topic about the GPF attendance but I was just watching the fancam from 2015 WC small medal ceremony

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2lpbn3_2015-world-men-small-medal-ceremony-1_sport and just noticed that at 2:22 Denis Ten and Yuzuru just realized that organizer got their placement according to ranking all mixed up and they were trying to confirm it among themselves before informing the organizer  It's so cute haha

Hi there! Is this where the announcer declared something like.. "The gold medalist, Javier Fernandez FROM JAPAN! (realized her mistake) --SPAIN." and the audience laughed with the error?

Yuzuru's reaction was really cute there.

No, this is before they went up the stage. The organizer wanted to position them for the FS small medal ceremony, but the organizer kept shuffling them around and like Ranran said the boys were trying to confirm it among themselves before informing the organizer. Starting from here https://youtu.be/QwRvJuZfQ9c?t=121 till Yuzuru at minute 2.33 telling the organizer what the order should be .

And then Yuzu saying he was from Spain :laugh2:
But yes, it was the same ceremony just a bit before it started, guess it was not the announcers day since they got some things mixed up there

Preview of Kenji's Room interview, I believe the telecast is still on Sept 1.

Photos shared by fans: #1, #2

The preview can only be watched after you register for free login to Jsport . Here is the preview translation. Sounds like Yuzu talked a lot in the Room

Questions:
(1) Do I understand correctly that there will be 5 episodes of Yuzu's interview? And these are the broadcast dates Sept 1, Sept 8, Sept 15, Sept 22 and Sept 29?
(2) Anyone knows how do we can watch the interview? Will it be broadcasted on TV or via online at Jsport?

(1) = You understand correctly^^ Each episode will last 30 minutes (from 10 pm to 10:30pm)

(2) = It will be broadcasted on JSport 4 (private channel with access through the cable in Japan). Otherwise it seems there is a plateforme where the program will be distribued on vod (not free of course). But you can't souscribe if you don't live in Japan. I tried and I got the "this service is not available in your area" message. :/

But I suppose some kind fans will upload the video for us on youtube/dailymotion :) It should be fine ^^
