Well, let haters hate..Some people just can't let go of the past, or are just too busy nitpicking others cause if they do that to themselves they will get seriously depressed.

The program has so many little details, cute details as well.People were expecting a rock,obscure strange waltz and they got a cute, airy,very viennese like in attitude one. It's amazing how they do, and how playful they can be on the ice.That's what I love about them, they are dancers, they live through it. The edges are to die for, it's very early one still, the rest will come, the partial step sequence is actually ticking the boxes one by one. I'd call it a tick all the boxes that you can kind of program.
Lena wooden? Don't listen to specific people that just get an allergy when the read the first two letters..IL...:drama: It will never pass, never ever. It's amazing how attached some people can get to situations, and teams, and things that have nothing to do with their own lives.

Ruslan has the main part in the program, the vocals are male. And he's doing a very good job at it.

100% This!! Alithia, they were expecting an awful mess and I/Z just completely put a kabosh on that. That is what happened. ;) Their glide over the ice, that soft effortless power is just to die for. I am so looking forward to the improvements they will make as the season progresses.

Well, if Lena was wooden the rest were mummies, then. :laugh: It's part of the game though, I guess...not everybody can like you or your programs. Fair enough.
Anyway, apart from the program which I love, the thing I'm loving most of these two is that they look so much like a couple know and above all they are building their own style. They are not a mediocre team, ordinary. That's big and great for a couple who just formed a year ago.

Lena wooden?!! How? I'll admit, I don't like their program, but they are good dancers, I can't find anything to critique in terms of style or technique. I am putting all my eggs into their FD basket. Funny, last season I loved their SD, disliked their FD. I have a feeling this year it will be flipped. I don't like their SD, but I hope I'll like their FD :).
 
Lol I watched their SD several times now and I am getting more and more into it. I just love it. I am sure that through the season they will continue to add more and more details and magic in it. They skate and look so comfortable with each other. Also what made me a big impression is how easy and effortless they are making their program even in so early stage. Real professionals. They are floating across the ice and are all smiles. I really hope they rock us all this year. I just cant wait to see this piece of art in action with costumes.

Yeah, I'm really curious about the costumes now. I think the belt and the headband for Elena is a great idea.

I don't know what they were expecting but it's funny to see people that lurk more than I do saying they like a skater, and then bash him/her. Cause the simple truth is they don't like the skater, but the old team of any skater, and the new one makes them see the skater in a way they can't accept. I know it's hard to make people admit their most inner feelings and fears, so let's live it at that.

Those edges are to die for, and yes they are effortless, it's like they are smooth as butter, and they are already developping a style of their own.

About the program degustibus, I guess. Some really might hate the modern/rock approach. I was anxious myself before. Not everybody's cup of tea. Some need more time.

That's the problem. For all these years we've been fed the crap that Lena is this and Lena is that. You see her work with Ruslan and you realize that what you've heard isn't really the full truth. It's easier to look for their shortcomings than to see what is right in front of you.
