I hope this is not the last we see of Javier Raya. Even though he popped more jumps than I pop bubble wrap. And fell on that other jump. And almost fell out of his footwork. And looked really tired by the end of his program. :hopelessness:

Too bad. Daniel Eaton is a strong male ice dance partner and Miss Danielle is not senior-ready. They make a pleasing couple on the ice and she sure knows how to smile but she seems over her head and I don't mean the lifts.

It was a big jump for Danielle to move up to skate in seniors with Daniel. I'm guessing everyone involved understood there would be a steep learning curve for her. She seems to be working hard, improving, and progressing at a more than acceptable rate. I want to know who Danielle's costumer is, because her dresses are beautiful and so flattering.

I was very impressed with Orford and Hill's free dance. IIRC, they were both facing the possibility of not being able to continue skating because of difficulty in finding a suitable partner. So glad they found each other. You can tell they're both happy to be out there skating.

Wasn't a good time worldwide, and there aren't any major draws in ladies.

Swap the times of the Men and Ladies, and replace Hanyu with Asada, that might be flip-flopped.

Patrick has 'creating music' listed as one of his hobbies, which explains why he understands it so well in his skating.

A stumble on some three turns and...well...the jumps, but I still enjoyed that a lot!
