Japanese Nationals 2015-16 Ladies FS

Mao should easily be able to smash that score when she is in the zone, like we saw earlier this year in japan open
Huh? She got 141 or 142 at JO... Satoko just got 139. And since she's so far behind in the short, she'll need ~150 to win. Yeaaaahhhh probs not going to happen :/

She can get 150 if she lands a 3A and everything else is clean. But yeah, probably will not happen.

She popped something at JO though. Can't remember what. And got an UR if I recall correctly

i hope so!

such a low PCS for her :<

Wakaba has a lot to work on in PCS so I hope those scores motivate her to work on choreography and presentation. Her FS isn't doing her too many favors in that department, but I'm glad she's improving

Will her placement here be important for her to get senior GPs next season?

I didn't think about that... I guess so, if she decides to go senior next season (is she age eligible?)

After the rule changes, girls go senior after their second junior season (like Medvedeva). And this is Wakaba's second junior season. I think if she doesn't want to remain junior one more season, she can be full time senior.

Yes but Mao scores in the 140's even if she has a mistake or two, so anything close to what we saw in Japan Open should make her atleast win the freeskate!

I think she'd want to turn senior as soon as possible, knowing her competitive spirit

+she was underscored in Sochi because she skated so early in the free
