or maybe he would open with 4s to warm up, and then goes on to 4lo, but the salchow choreo opening fits better for quad loop. Then he can always do spread eagle -4S :biggrin:

I guess we will find out it tomorrow already. He usually start practices with free run.

I will grow so impatient because I'm pretty sure he'll skip morning practice and we'll have to wait until the afternoon to see how he does. Those pre-competitions jitters will be the death of me one day :laugh:

Javier Raya just posted a picture on IG in Boston, so I guess everyone from TCC is there already, hopefully we'll get a picture of Yuzu soon :)
 
Remember at NHK press conference where he gave 5min answer on one question and they ran out of time for other questions after that. We saw he took the mic to apologize.
What we didn't see was this from 0:11 onwards....like Shae said "What a sweet soul!"

I'm not sure if you are trying to be rude. Anyway, I think yuzu does have a record of winning with two or more falls in 1 competition each season if we look at his record. His performance pattern doesn't change. :laugh:

2011-2012: COR, 2 falls
2012-2013: NHK, 2 falls
2013-2014: Olympics, 2 falls
2014-2015: GPF, 2 falls
2015-2016: National, 3 falls.

He already used up the quota this season, so he won't win with 2 falls at the WC. :)

ETA:

Also he usually has a quota of 3 good competitions each season. He already had 2 good competitions this season. So there is still one left and I think he will use the quota at the WC.

I'm so sorry that I didn't have time to keep up with the thread, but I'm here ready for watching the worlds.

I don't think it would be any problem if he can land that 4S in 2nd half


I have wish he would do opening quad sal in long from some crazy spread eagle fitted to seimei theme :biggrin:

It took him a while to land the 4t in the 2nd half. I don't think it's easy for him to land 4S in the 2nd half yet. He will need to practice it quite a lot. He may try 4S in the 2nd half next season. I wish he would switch the order of 4S and 4t-3t in the SP. Right now, he does 4t-3t after 4S. If he misses the 4t and can't add any combination, he will lose a lot of points. He won't get a second chance to add the combo. If he does 4t-3t before 4S and misses the 4t, he can still add a 3t to the 4S. If he wants to have a quad in the 2nd half, he can do 4S in the 2nd half, i.e. 4t-3t/4S, 3A.
