2016 Team Challenge Cup - Gen Info/Pre-chat

Papadakis/Cizeron are out. Next in line for 'Team Europe' - Coomes/Buckland, Stepanova/Bukin, Testa/Csolley...

I think we are going to see some tired skaters. Many of the US skaters have been going non stop since worlds, with SOI rehearsal and 2 shows right after worlds.
Makes me tired just thinking about it. But, this comp is mostly for fun. A good way to close the season.

I agree. I hope they dont injure themselves....and put some jack in their jeans and have some fun cause this doesnt effect their standings. I am sorry about the French dropping out and hope no more big names
leave. Maybe the Shibs could come and just do a demo! :agree:

I think that ISU channel should stream the event. What's the point of making the world fanbase cote for their favorites when at the end only a part of the fans of figure skating can actually watch the event? And if they want- they need to pay extra? It's ridiculous!

Does anyone know is there any livestream other than IceNetwork? Because I don't live in the US but I really want to watch those wonderful performances again

I can't believe that Ice Network has still not responded in any way to the many subscriber complaints about being charged extra for an event that is listed as being included...

They responded to me... basically saying that it's not included, it never was supposed to be included and it never was included, you're confused. Yet it's still listed on their website as included. I asked them to explain this and they reiterated that I must be confused

Kolyada should get the Luckiest Figure Skater of the Year Award!

Makes a nice change, considering that he missed all of last season in possibly the UNluckiest way - he broke his leg doing footwork.

I can't believe that IN are seriously just sitting there calling their whole subscriber base liars...

Coomes/Buckland. But if they will decline the invitation or just will not be ready, then it will be Stepanova/Bukin.
ice network retwitted Penny's twit on heading to US

Not sure if this suggests C/B will replace P/C.

Just to point out, skaters on SOI Japan had 5 shows after Worlds, last one finished on the 18th in Tokyo. I'm sure they will be equally if not more tired compared to skaters with shows in US.
But like you said, this is suppose to be a fun competition (Japan Open like) where everyone's happy with the prize money

Good for C/B. Didn't think that P/C would compete here anyway after winning Worlds.

Seems at least the US skaters are excited for the event. Ashley tweeted she was in LA for one day and then heading to Spokane so we know she'll show up! Assuming it will be the final time she'll be doing her Moulin Rouge program. Sorry to see it go!

IN have a lot of nerve, and I bet will lose a lot of customers over this.

Good, I love their FD with the very unique and creative choreography. We have another chance to see it.
I don't know if I get to see it because of obvious reasons:dev3: but I agree with you- their Worlds 2016 FD performance was breathtaking.:luv17:

You mean Icenet's extra charge for viewing the event? There would be a way. Let's wait.

I'm not gonna pay for it. One thing that makes me less regrettable is that my fav will not be there. But usually events like TCC are heartwarming to watch so, damn, they need to stream it for everyone.
