I also think that. I think PW is the most yuzu-like program. Music selection will be a key. Shirota said that
it's like 'hello, I love you'mood and includes various upper body movements. But, gap between two programs
is quite huge, although both moods are sassy and the costume he has not worn ever.
He is well-versed in various Rock musics, so I expect his participation on music edits like seimei.
personally, I prefer no lyrics on Rock. too gala program feeling..

PW was more jazzy blues than rock tbh, also it depends on program construction and interpretation, I have seen tons of skaters in these years doing different genres of music with same interpretation, as you can put any piece of music on their program and it is same...on the other hand some doing maybe a bit same genre with absolutely different interpretation.Let's wait until he reveals them.. imagine it is something really heavy lol

While I love a good rock-y song, I'm more interested in the FS music. "melodic, beautiful, strong". Well, the last two are a matter of personal opinion, of course, but melodic is melodic. Rock/pop etc. aren't usually described as melodic, that's more reserved for classical music and music derived from that genre, like soundtracks (to movies, TV series, video games, anime etc.).
So we might be looking at another Chopin or SEIMEI piece, style-wise. To which my only reaction can be:

Parisian Walkways was a programme that kept making new world records (t/n. 1st time was at Skate America, Oct 2012, SP score of 95.07. Then it broke records 3 more times, the last one being 101.45 at Sochi Olympics in 2014.). It was choreographed by Jeffrey Buttle in Canada. ‘When we hear this music, we think of Yuzuru Hanyu’, ‘when you say Yuzuru Hanyu, it’s this music’, this was said among the Japanese people later on.
Hanyu said this about his first impressions of it. “At first, I felt it was a 'Jeff-like' programme; I thought it would be better that Jeff himself did it. (laughs) But as I skated it more, a lot of my own choreography also came out.”
