2016-17 Russian Qualifiers and other events

no videos leaked at all, I guess cameras and videos were totally off limits
last year at least we get to see some of the test skates.

Does anyone know how Anastasia Tarakanova is doing recently? She's my favourite russian baby but she doesn't seems to be doing well last season :(

I can't forget her crying in K&C at last Junior Nats. :hopelessness:
In 14/15 she had won Russian U11 Nats, last season she didn't even qualify to U13 Nats!

The first figure skating competition took place in Russia this weekend and Anastasia Tarakanova participated. She won the event with 166.82 score. Her SP result:

Stavitskaia/Bagin has been named as substitute for JGP Slovenia. I didn't even realize they were eligible but they are.
 
I thought last year was her last junior eligible season, but I must be wrong then.

Wow, Sakhanovich beat Tuktamysheva in the SP. and Leonova is only 8th!

I wouldn't be harping on the first competition of the season, especially if it was more of a test skate for the skaters new programs and jump layout to try it.
