Thank you! Why did you hide it? It's great! There's this moment when he steps and turns around to avoid little crash with Patrick and there's so much energy in that practice, he is so fierce! I loved your video! Thank you again!:thank:

I hope someone will record Yuzuru's practice sessions in AC and shares those videos. Please don't worry about the quality too much, let us have a chance to see Yuzu in practice sessions! Go Yuzu!:cheer:

Main reason was because I thought it wasn't good quality filming :o:.

I guess that, now, I'm just thinking it's still better to have something, even if not of the best quality :).

Okay, I'm making myself a promise not to watch any practice videos even if they do come up. This way I will watch it fir the first time in its entirety. I hope I will be able to hold on to that promise.

Skate Canada's camera policy now forbids videos and even DSLRs so it will be tougher but maybe you guys will get something. There will definitely be official photos, at least.

What about phone camera? Well too bad for the practices but at least they still stream the competition.

Thanks for the hint, I will post the answer of dailymotion support, if there comes one at all.
.....and you are right, in the middle of the night the stream will hold better.
Maybe I am the only one in Germany watching CAC because of Hanyu. Hardly anyone knows him here. Figure Skating is nothing here. Sports news are all football ( soccer). Just a tip: If Eurosport or Eurosport player doesnt want to get live into GP Skate Canada in a month try russian streams.

I'm in Moldova. Same as in your country i believe it's basically me who's watching figure skating live at all. We don't have a rink and figure skating here is kind of not watched at all (maybe only during Olympics). Russian sites are always my first source. I hope at least one will stream the figure skating as now it's European Football (soccer) Championship and most of people will watch it.

Not allowed.

Let me post the policy, in case there are fans out there heading to events without having seen it and ending up disappointed about having to go camera-less. You can download it from here (100 KB PDF).

The Skate Canada Spectator Camera Policy is in place at events to protect the safety and privacy
of athletes and to ensure a distraction free environment for all spectators.

Spectators are permitted to use small point and shoot cameras for their personal use only.

The following are not permitted at Skate Canada events:

- Flash photography
- Camera bags in venue
- Use of professional cameras and/or detachable lenses
- Cameras that produce a visual and/or audible interference of other fans’ enjoyment of
the event
- Resale of photography or posting photos on professional websites
- Video recording on any device such as a camcorder, digital camera, mobile telephone or
any other device with video recording capabilities

Only accredited coaches and team managers are permitted to videotape their own skater/team
from rinkside during that skater’s/team’s practice or performance, for coaching purposes only.
The footage cannot be posted on any form of social media. If athletes wish to obtain a video of
their programs, they may purchase a copy from the licensed video distributor on site if
applicable.

Spectators not abiding by these restrictions risk having their camera confiscated by venue
security staff. Additionally, Skate Canada reserves the right to restrict use of other types of
cameras should they feel the quality and/or type of camera fail to protect the athletes’ and/or
event’s interests.

Pssst, you actually have an ice rink  https://en.pointerst.com/md/showplace/katok-ice-bravo

No fear, for the GPs, lots of streams will go live, as they do every year. You'll just need to head to the dedicated threads, and usually someone updates the first couple of posts in "video and results" with the streams links :agree:

Thanks, Mango. But what I get from these at least the audiences are still allowed to take pic with pocket camera, so maybe we can still see some sneak-peek of the practices. :)

Oh yeah, absolutely. Just not the high quality photos most fans are used to from other fans. Well, unless you've got a really nice camera.

Since it is a smaller venue compared to GP I think pocket cam/phone cam would give us pictures with quality that is decent enough. For now I am still thankful that they at least stream the competition. For the practices, I guess we would just depend on the kindness of the audiences who attend.

If I am not wrong, some of the GS members in this thread will be going right? Do share with us later here! :agree:

Hello to everyone! What are the news about our beloved Yuzu? Do we know his programs yet? At which GP we will see him? Next competitions?

I'm sorry if it was written before but I didn't have the chance to read all the last 100 pages :slink:

Thank you!

We got all that information already ;)

SP: Let's Go Crazy by Prince
FS: View of Silence and Asian Dream Song by Joe Hisaishi

GP Events: Skate Canada and NHK
Next competition: Autumn Classic starting this Friday

Well, you are definitely not the only one since I'll be watching too... but yeah I wish people here would show more interest in figure skating. It's all about soccer and formula 1. Winter sports broadcasted are mainly ski jumping, ice hockey and biathlon.

Honestly I don't get why skate canada is forbidding to film practice. Maybe the competition I can get, so you don't bother other people in the public with your phone/camera. I agree it can be disturbing (even tho I think it is still a bit much to forbid filming). But for practice i am sorry but it is BS. And it's not like they have the rights and are gonna sell a freaking DVD.

I hope some ninja rockstar superfan avoids interdiction and films it

You can see the Yuzuru Hanyu media thread from the point you've stopped reading. This thread is a blessing sometimes. :drama:

Skate Canada and NHK. With Autumn Classics coming this weekend (pratices start tomorrow for men; I think today(?) depending on where you live, well, thursday).
SP: "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince.
FP: Hope and Legacy by Joe Hisaishi (Asian Dream Song and View of Silence)

Fan compilation of practices:
SP
FP 1, FP 2

I admire your self control :slink:

This thread really moves fast  Sad we don't get to see the practice but as long as they stream the competition I don't mind. Will it also get streamed on youtube (like the JGP)? I'm not that fond of DM:scratch2:

I admit, now that I finally have some time to sit on it, I realize I have a moderate case of costume anxiety
