Oh well, that was... Well it is early season hope he gets it going later in the season

But the program itself... wow.
Yeah, wow. Needs stamina work, of course, but other than that....
Yay for Hisaishi live performance music, btw.
LOL, totally won the competition. <---- whoops, talked too soon, hahaha.

I hate blue-green color combinations, it's poison :curse: :angry2:
I was hoping for warm, pastel colors :scowl:

Bravo yuzu! Beautiful 4L n 4S

Its alright! He will nail this program somewhere in the season, hopefully during world :) I'm sure he will improve

lol bet gona be lots of 'kuyashi' in interviews after this

He seemed tired and sad but the program was so so so touching.
I have to admit today he looks freaking beautiful (not like he doesn't any other day).

so that was a bit rough, but still the program is so gorgeous :luv17: and the costume is soooo pretty [/swooning fangirl]. This can only get so much better as the season goes on

Brian was really cheering him on there, I saw him slap the boards towards the end.

Once fully fit, this is going to be gorgeous. Just gorgeous. He's actually better on ice for me than he was.

To me all the latter mistakes seemed from a clear lack of stamina. He was also breathing pretty hard there in the end. It's just the season start and it will work itself out.

Yeah, that looked like stamina issue. That's nothing to worry about at this stage in time. half a year to get it in order. :-)

The program is really pretty, I really really love it. I hope this stumbling on this early event would really mean he is building up for oly and worlds, :) He has 2 solid programs this season, all he need to do is patiently building up through it :luv17: This is the first time for him performing his programs in front of a pack of audiences, so he could get rid of those early season nerves out hopefully, thus this should be a decent start :hap10:

EDIT : Oy, child, don't look so sad and bummed, it breaks my heart and it is only October. :)

Is there a medal ceremony now? Oh... they say fifteen minutes. I wonder if I should stay awake for that. *yawn*

The latest issue of "Figure Skate Life" is featuring the designer of the costumes of "Etude" and "R&J1", Shizuko Orihara.
She says costumes for men require more fittings, for thighs, under knee size, etc., than that for ladies, so she has not undertaken Yuzuru's costume recently as he is abroad.

She might have provided only the design

but you know what guys, I'm really optimistic about his 4Lo, I think it's a good sign he was able to land it both times.

He started well and then away went the stamina. It is one thing to practice well, but it is another to be out competing when that little thing called adrenaline kicks in or out and you are not used to it.

I think yuzu probably really needed to do this, at this time, to get used to it again. 6 months away from the game, time off the ic, no shows... that is a big deal. Being yuzu, he will not be happy, but this was a step that needed to be taken.

Still glad he did 2 quads and 2 axels, not bad!!
