Yuzuru Hanyu: 2016-17 Season

Yuzu is a JSF puppet , we can talk about costumes, pants and choreo, but what Mr. Klaus-Reinhold Kany wrote in Pirouette Magazine about Yuzu’s freedom of speech is very severe and noone from JSF denied it.
It’s very unlikely that a skater who has no freedom of speech has the right to self determination, so I would be cautious to say it’s Yuzu’s choice.

About Borser’s interview, It would be interesting to know when Borser changed his mind, since Javi upgraded his TES SP before Boston after Yuzu did it at NHK because he didn’t want to stay stable in the SP (and to continue to make mistakes in the 3-3 combo) and Yuzu even said at Worlds that his team didn’t inform him about Javi’s upgrade.

Talking about coach... I noticed that Ghisland Briand was at the practices with Brian watching Yuzuru and even he advised him. He was watching Yuzuru's performance too. Maybe is he his second coach now?

As I have heard, Ghisland Briand was helping Yuzuru the whole summer at CC aside from Orser. I think they're quite close. Maybe at CC, he is assigned to help Yuzuru along with Orser and Tracy when these 2 coaches are busy.

Thank you for kindly reminding me why I put you in the ignore list. Yeah, sure, Yuzuru couldn't see with his own eyes Javi upped his program when he came back to TCC. And of course, Javi and Brian absolutely had to ask for Yuzu's permission to do that. What Javi chooses to do is Yuzu's concern.
I absolutely love these conspiracy theory maniacs - not the first time I've seen them online - they are all the same: they all know the truth better than anyone else.

On the other hand, I do think Orser should just stop comparing his students. I know he means well, but some of his comparisons really hurt people. For example he said that Yuna Kim was selfish but Yuzuru was generous, because Yuna didn't want to share couch with others but Yuzuru doesn't mind (I don't remember the exact wording but this is the basic idea). You know these kinds of comparisons are really unnecessary

Re Orser's strategy, yes I think this strategy makes sense. I believe Yuzuru will feel better if he takes Orser's advice to not pay attention to other quad jumpers, but Yuzuru just won't listen

Gezz I think people should stop throwing trash at Orser. I have to say I don't agree with many words Orser has said but from all the connections I have, from skaters to coaches and specialists from various feds, and fans who have seen Yuzuru and Orser at backstage, Orser does care a lot about Yuzuru and he has ground to believe in his strategy.

Frankly our boy isn't as angelic as his appearance, his will is too strong so to coach him is not an easy task at all. He might be the most stubborn student Orser has ever had. Of course they have many difficulties in training and management, but Yuzuru knows. He is smart he knows who wants to help him. That's why he stays at CC for such a long time. If you love Yuzuru you should respect his choices and his will.

Oh, and while I'm about it: JSF officials have to write and deny something which got printed in an obscure magazine in Germany. Lots of stuff got written about Yuzuru in Kazakhstan this year - a lot less complimentary stuff - should they take that up as well? Or maybe they have some more pressing matters?
That said, I'm not sure it is what was written by that journalist - I'd rather believe it's the way conspiracy theorists prefer to interpret it. The powers of interpretation is everything to them.

What always amazes me about your posts is the complete inconsistency of your arguments. That's quite impressive. One the one hand you always praise Yuzuru for being such an amazing spirit and so aware of himself, how he has his own mind and doesn't let anybody keep him from his goals – and then you call him a puppet and make it sound like he needs someone to wipe his nose 24/7. You either must have seen some weird puppet shows in your childhood, or you're confused about the term.

Yes it is not pretty when done and held for too long but enough rotation is actually fine. I was never a fan of his biellmann so when he is not doing it, I don't really have a problem. I also realized even without biellmann he still get level 4, so it doesn't affect his level, but does doing less difficult variation affect GOE?

Freedom of speech : Hanyu was partly bound by his ANA -sponsors TV date not to reveal the SP/ FS music, but as he didnt say anything more to Mr Kany /Pirouette as " I like that you put me on your cover" its a real serious thing which gives me to think how far he has a right to self determination. You can do something for your federation by winning titles and you get legend if you do what noone did before, the last is Hanyus way, self determined or not, he wants to go it.

Hanyu-Fernandez : Gets more and more similar to the Hamilton/ Rosberg Mercedes team in F1.

I could get skating trying to harmony with music. I was able to skate comfortably for the first part. If I can make the forms of jumps or the way of acceleration more effective, I will avoid any mistake also in latter half. I thought I needed more practice.
